I don't care whether the conversion rate of Galleons to Pound Sterling is correct or not nor do I care whether the salaries or cost of items is realistic or not.
The point of the whole issue of finance was just a plot device to offer employment to the charactors you needed to pull off this coup. It was also required so you could give a certain life style to the magical masses muggle born or not.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and loved every chapter. I found the whole thing very well written.
If it is a tad unrealistic for some then perhaps we all need reminding that the subject of magic as J K Rowling sees it is pure fantasy.
I loved the ending and has been said before the final line affords one a good laugh.
Thank you for sharing your time and your work it is very much appreciated by this reader.

I found Harry's defeatism in the last battle to be frankly nauseating.
As for Hermione learning she'd only get 200 galleons a year ... that stood to be ridiculously amusing. Except that never happens in canon, so it's wildly AU at best.
The problem of course is that you've invented an enormous economic pressure for mundane-born magicals to break the statute of secrecy either overtly or on the sly. And by doing so, the mundane-borns would amass enormous amounts of wealth and political power.
IOW, you've created an impossible world because it would almost instantaneously degenerate AWAY from canon.
Much more promising is a completely different economy from anything in the modern world. For example, one based entirely on monopolies with magicals being super-lazy and not inclined to work. Partially Kissed Hero has that.
OR a completely different tax system. Say one where half of the government's budget is spent on acquiring food during market crashes and then putting it under stasis charms freely available to everyone. Thus nobody ever pays for food and they look down on the non-magical world for not having free food. HP and the Sixth Sense? has that.

The financials on the mageboxes don't make any sense. Just the first 7 employees cost 8000 G each and have cost that for more than 10 years. That's 560,000 G just for the senior staff. So *just to pay for the senior staff*, with 10,000 mageboxes worldwide, they would have to make upwards of 56 G PROFIT per magebox. And we know damned well that "every second home" in Wizarding Britain can't afford that much. Because 56 G / 1000 G annual income is the equivalent of 3000 pounds for a 50,000 pounds dual-income annual household. That's fairly hefty for just a television with nothing but sports on it in a nation with a stagnant economy and plenty of poverty. And of course, that assumes the 56 G / 3000 pounds is the full cost of the magebox, instead of just the PROFIT the company makes on selling them. Assuming 15% profit (which is high) then each magebox would actually cost 370 G / 20,000 pounds! And that is just to pay for the senior staff!
Frankly, I knew that your financials would be screwed when you decided to give first-world wages to make products for a third world country! That's back in chapter 1 by the way. But I assumed you would pull some tricks to justify it. Instead, you shot yourself in the foot, putting hard numbers on the situation to make sure it is FUCKED.

Hmm, i Just found this wandering around someones favorites list and thought I'd give it a read.
Absolutely brilliant.
It wasn't to long, or irritatingly short, it was paced out perfectly. Wonderfully free of head smashing grammar and spelling errors.
The ending.. I laughed out loud, and I laughed so hard my eyes watered. "I'm Home." indeed. Mwuahahaha

It takes a seriously twisted mind to dream this up.
Thank you for having that so we could enjoy this.

This fic is a page turner! What, what possible excuse can Harry and Remus think up for not only leaving little Harry at the tender mercies of the Dursleys but also Sirius in Azkaban for EIGHT long years! If I were Sirius I's be AK-ing the both of them. Mini-Harry should be having a few unanswerable questions for them both too. Eight years is not just leaving them there for a 'little' bit longer - as I think was mentioned in an earlier chapter, or words to that effect - and in any case, even an hour longer in either 4 Privet Drive or Azkaban would be an hour too long.

Thank you for mentioning that Harry didn't know how the two Elder wands would react to each other, it's the first time I've seen it and I think that sort of thing could have an impact in a time travel story.
Personally, I think it would be hilarious to have 'time traveling' Harry's Elder wand be the true Elder wand, since it is, after all, elder (older) than Dumbledore's.
Also, thanks for such wonderful, long, updates. Those of us who only manage very short chapters look up on those who write more with aspiration, admiration, envy, wrath, avarice, gluttony, and rage.

Gosh!
This was good, truly.
I can only say that somehow I hope there would be a sequel, but the end seems just right.
Whatever, this was awesome and I hope you found inspiration for another fic cause I can't wait to read another piece of your work :)

This is one of the most unique variants of "Harry Potter goes back in time to change his future " that I've ever read. It was a pleasure to read too, and long but not overly so. Thank you so much!
