Boy really feeling for Neal here. Peter is being down right self-righteous, hypocritical and cruel. At least Mozzie got thanks, far more then Neal is getting. Maybe Peter needs a wake up call or three thousand. Yes he was betrayed but maybe he needs to see there are other feelings and hearts at stake then his own. Why should Neal trust him after the venom he's been receiving? Section though is really written for sympathy for Peter, heroism for Moz. Maybe some day he'll appreciate Neal risked death for his sister, but I doubt it. This Peter doesnt seem to like or give a damn about Neal. Good story but I was really hoping for a Peter reconciliation with perhaps a thank you and apology from Peter, but I don't see that coming. Thank goodness Neal isnt holding grudges and still tries to save the innocents. Thanking Moz, deliberately ignoring Neals role in saving El and ignoring his role in saving Grace must cut like a dagger. Wish Peter loved Neal like many fans do.

This chapter is awesome! I love all the angst, and that things are finally coming together. Poor Peter! He's so confused and torn on what to say. That damn Frank coming in and turning everyone's lives upside down. UPDATE! I love this story.

Oh, these boys and their secrets! Neal and Peter make it a lot harder for each other when they don't share information. Good chapter. I especially enjoyed the Peter-Grace scene in the office. After twenty years, it was time they made up. Love the part Mozzie is playing in this. I hope Peter is given a little leeway in the shooting of Neal though.

Very good! I'm happy that in your stories Peter gets to be a real human being, not just relegated to a 24 hr nurse/protector for Neal. Lots of emotional fallout for everyone yet to come as neither Neal nor Peter have the whole story yet.

What kind of hospital is Neal in? That didn't check him for a concussion especially after complaining of hitting his head, or keep him overnight for observation? Don't want to go to that hospital!

I'm a little confused with the ending of this chapter...was Neal only hurt marginally and taken to another hospital...or is he remembering what happened that lead up to the moment when he protected Peter?

Great chapter! I really like the character interplay between Peter, Grace and Frank; very three dimensional and well done with crisp dialogue. A nice job of showing Frank in all his bitterness, jealousy and just plain evil intent. Very evocative picture of Grace through the yeas, saving clippings on Peter's career. Good job!
