Awww I'm actually fighting tears right now... This was so moving and terribly sad. It just shows you the price of stubborness and pride. But actually probably the saddest thing was just the sheer misunderstanding of it all. Oh dear I think I'll need to go off and read something cheery now or this will haunt me the rest of the day (in a good way! Cause this well written and evocative). Thanks for sharing!
