YOU'RE BACK! This is exciting.
The animosity between Gale and Madge is so visceral that I don't know how they're going to fall for each other with all that real hate going around. What kind of fucked up situation are you going to get them in so they end up trusting and -it sounds so absurd now- LOVING each other? Well, I know for sure we are up for a crazy ride! I actually excited to get to the part where they start feeling something for the other and deny it even to themselves. Wee! Please, don't leave us again...I ask respectfully and with the knowledge that inspiration is a bitch and life always gets in the way!

I loved it! I remember I messaged you a few years back hoping you'd continue this story. I discovered it yesterday and have spent the whole day re-reading it.
There is SO much about your writing that works...I especially loved this chapter, with Katniss and Gale's hostility to Madge, which definitely goes towards explaining her behavior towards him in the "present" timeline. I really enjoyed how critical Madge was of Gale and Katniss ganging up on her in the lunch ladies scene. Also, one of my favorite things about this story is how you manage to show Madge as vulnerable without making her a damsel.
I have to ask you, when will the romance start? At this point, I can't imagine Madge and Gale putting their dislike aside. I'm really curious as to how their relationship might develop.
I really look forward to more interaction between Peeta and Madge and how she helps him recover and her own morphling? addiction?
I'm very excited to read more!

I can't believe this! You're back! Your Madge is my FAVORITE. EVER. I love these back-to-the-past chapters and how biting they are. Now I'm wondering what this crucially important moment is.
