Ew... vampire pimp trying to snap up Spike? So not a smart thing to do. Even if he wasn't in love with Buffy, Spike's above that. Like, way above.
Ehhhh, poor Riley. Sort of.
Buffy doesn't need... dark exactly. She needs an equal, a mate, someone as strong as she is, and as passionate. Spike, for all his vampire-ness, isn't all that "dark." He's very alive for someone who is dead, and incredibly... bright. Like, aura wise, he's got a lot of light to him.
I hated when Joyce got sick. At first, I didn't really like her as a character, but eventually I started to really enjoy her popping up in the show, and being a mom to everybody. (Even Spike.)

Excellent! I was literally thinking this morning "I hope there's an update to Vice Versa soon; that's a really great story." Apparently, a wish-granting demon was hiding somewhere nearby :) Good update; especially Riley's spiral of destruction. It was nice to see that moment from his darker point of view. Looking forward to more :D

I must say I love this season rewrite better then the original season. Buffy, Spike ...Everyone is in character. I read all 18 chapters in night with my mom yelling at me to go to bed (which I did very reluctly). For the first time in a long while I cried because I reached the end of a story. Please update very soon. I'm addicted to Buffy all over again.

So I very much love your story! I feel like you totally understand the characters and the story, and it's like the actual thing, just reading. Mind you though, I haven't actually watched the fifth season in forever, so I can't remember all the real dialogue-but still, quite nice! Please keep writing!

"'Don't even start, Spike,' Buffy said, spinning him to face her, ignoring the thrill at having him pressed up against the wall."
These scenes were fun, when she's got him on a wall, mostly because she's not actually exerting that much pressure half the time, she's just kinda holding him in place with her fingers. It's half sexy, half simply effective, and maybe with an undercoating of potential for turning into a gentler hold.
I like how Spike really respects Slayers. I mean, somewhere, some vamp or demon killed a Slayer. It's not like he's the only one who ever has. But he treats them like what they are: special. And here, you've made him show plausible regret that he didn't show her more respect than he did.
Grin. YEEESSSS! They're both in love, now all they've gotta do is pull themselves together-and arrange an accident for Riley-and they'll be all set!

I disagree. I'm not saying he should always look like that, but Buffy, he can be snarling and screamin' bloody murder at you and he'd still be endearing.

Tara is sweet. I really liked this episode. Mainly for Spike-related reasons, but I always found it fun that he and Tara seemed to understand each other so well.

Aw... letting him get away with stuff 'cause he got beat up helping her... she's a goner.
I think, deep down, they all really do like Spike. Sure, they think he's annoying, and I'm not including Riley in that by any means, but you can tell, they don't really hate him. Willow and Tara like him, I think, and Xander was all "Hey, I'm not the only guy in the gang" before Riley showed up, Anya is probably of the opinion that once he and Buffy cut the crap and get togehter, they'll both be much easier to be around, and Giles... I think Giles really does respect Spike. And we all know how Buffy feels. ;)
'Does he have to be such a drama queen?' Giles mused aloud. 'I mean, all the duster-swirling and door-slamming – it's like having a teenager around.'
And Exhibit A: Giles thinks of Spike as a son... like he thinks of Buffy as his daughter...
