I was literally crying when I read the part where Hermione was crying because Draco called her a-a- mudblood... I still have tears in my eyes because it was so emotional and moving

Okay so...I've written stuff on the other chapters but I figured it wouldn't hurt to write something on the final chapter. This story was just so incredibly beautiful and perfect. I loved every moment of it, even when it made me feel like crying. The music was also something that I loved about this book. It is an aspect that I will miss in all the other books I will read. The music completed the scenes and made it that much more emotional. Thank you for this journey. Your version of Dramione will stay with me forever.

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted...
All at once
Everything looks different
Now that I see you...
I love that song, and I love that scene, and I love this fanfic...

Dear Alydia,
I'm not sure if you'll see this. I don't have an account on here, so even if you do see this I don't think I'd get a reply, and it's been almost ten years since you've published this story. But I couldn't leave this behind without saying something!
My name is Heather Soda. I've liked to write stories for as long as I can remember. I'm 20 now, and the last time I wrote something I was proud of was a long time ago, and I've never been able to write more than a few pages. You see- when I was 15, I was going through this obsessive Harry Potter phase where I was in love with the idea of Dramione. I've grown out of it now, but as I was sitting in front of my computer extremely frustrated and desperately trying to write something, I remembered this story that I had read when I was 15 called What the Room Requires. A Dramione fanfiction. I searched and when I finally found it again, I was so excited it wasn't even funny.
I had absolute CHILLS reading this from start to finish. I don't think I've read anything like it, something that made me feel as strongly as this did. You seemed to KNOW the characters in a way where I can believe you had created them. Never have I read a fanfiction where the author was able to portray previously written characters that aren't their own as well as you have with this. It blew me away. The scene in the room where Hermione snapped at Draco, and he lay dying, thinking about his life, was probably the most thrilling thing I had the pleasure to experience. And when you tied it back together, when Draco stood up against Voldemort in the dream scene of the death eaters coming through the vanishing cabinet, I actually had an out of body experience. Not even being dramatic. It was THAT good.
I fell in love with how amazing your writing was and the way it made me feel. I couldn't get it out of my head. There is nothing more I desire than to be able to write like that, to be able to create a story, so passionate and thrilling, tied together in extraordinary ways. I want you to know you have inspired me so much, whether I'll ever be able to do that or not. I hope that by some chance you see this, even ten years after you wrote it, and I hope by some chance that you will respond and that by some AMAZING chance, I will be able to see it.
Thank you.

I just don't even know what to say. Reading this was amazing. There were times I cried (yup I cried), and times I smiled, I just want to say you truly have loads of talent, and I enjoyed reading this more than I ever thought I could enjoy. My friends don't understand why I'm obsessed with reading , but stuff like this is why, so thank you for the awesome awesomeness. :)

Ok where do I even begin...This was beautiful. I have rarely enjoyed reading something as much as I enjoyed this. The way things are described, making it seem like some kind of fairytale was stunning. It is just so unique and purely heart-warming while also being heart-wrenching and instigating nervousness and excitement. I think it was truly the quality of the writing which makes this story so amazing. Definitely something any Dramione lover or just generally a Harry Potter Fanficition lover should read.
