As much as I sometimes really don't like how authors reduce characters to what is palatable for them personally (for so many women, the romantic ending to a story is marriage and children), I think I wouldn't mind it here so much. It worked its way to make sense, and Freyja is definitely the Goddess to approach for fertility. If you need any additional info on Norse Traditions, let me know, and, as a bonus, I AM a Freyja's woman, so probably even more helpful. I would say this, there is a warning for those who pray for pregnancy to Freyja - specify the number, or She will go BIG. You could end up having 7. :)

Of all the gifts and presents that Eric showers her with, her rejection of him splitting his wealth with her after they are married is so unbecoming and insulting. Eric is doing what is honorable - you are my wife, then what is mine is yours. During the Viking era it went much further than this. A man would present his bride with keys to every lock in the house, including the chest containing his wealth, and the woman was responsible for distribution of it. Not to surrender keys during a wedding ritual to the woman would be insulting to her and her family. She is being disrespectful towards her marriage.

Your daughter is about the same age as my 29 weeker. He’s 17 in 2024. He was 975 grams. We were at the UW nicu. Thankfully he is also healthy.

I love this so far...I don't think my review will be seen but I'm loving it...the only thing is that even if it's a vampire bar lots of humans will be there also so Sookie will still have to hear their thoughts...Also wouldn't it be dangerous for her if she smells so good to vamps?
