You've really gotten much better at writing since you first posted here. Comparing this story to the one you did last Christmas, it's obvious how far you have come. :)
I think it would further improve your stories if you gave a more detailed description of the action. For example, you said that Sarah showed them how to decorate the tree. How did she do this? Did she just place an ornament on the tree (what kind of ornament? did she place it in the middle of the tree, or high up?) or did she hang some tinsel? Did the goblins watch her attentively, or were they distracted by all of the shiny ornaments? When Sarah let them go to decorate, did the goblins fight each other to get to the tree? Or was the tree big enough that they could all get close without pushing and shoving? When you add details like these, it make your story more realistic. Just something to remember for next time.
Anywho, as I've said, you have come a long way as a writer. It's really great to see. I look forward to watching you continue to improve. I hope you have a very merry Christmas.
Blessed Be

Cute, short, and sweet. I laughed at the image of the goblins eating the tinsel. Lovely, holiday story.
