Sorry- I never check my email so I didn't notice the update.
Unfortunately, I am confused... what time-line is this based on? Do they know Ichigo or not? I thought Rukia already knew Renji had been sent, but then you have her confused when she speaks to Kiyone. *pulls out hair*
There were more grammatical errors than in the first chapter... but I'm still intrigued by your possible plot... :)

Excellent spelling and grammar. Just a few punctuation mistakes- try to use commas and semi-colons.
I THINK I have an idea of the time line- "recent life" made me think it was his current human status after the war, then I thought when she first met Ichigo, and then by the end, I am thinking sometime after her rescue? ...should I even worry over the timeline? lol
A bit short, but seeing as it could be a potential introduction, it's just fine.
Also, when you have Ichigo and his Hollow talking, is Ichigo thinking what he says, or just really irritated and angry talking to his Hollow? I know it seems obvious for the most part, but just want to make sure.
