This is really, really good!

I love the way you write, slowly and thoughtfully, and I think that this is a way Alex is likely to turn out if MI6 don't leave him alone. After all, he's just a teenager.

This perspective was interesting, a nice take on Alex. I liked the cycle that you went through - how you described the emptiness in the first paragraph and then came back to it in the last.

Some of my favorite lines:

"I could end it, here and now, but I don't have the strength. I no longer have control over my life. It was taken from me a long time ago."

"I've been dead inside for years. It's only a matter of time until it finally ends."

Overall, a very poignant piece. Fluent. Thank you for sharing this, and keep writing!
