Hey good start. I especially liked the picture you painted during the first few paragraphs during Siegfried's first appearance. Great imagery. If I could nitpick then I would say that the characters speak to "modern". I caught lines in my story that had the same tone. I personally disliked it and changed the lines to something more befitting of the time period. But it's your story, and I'll continue to see where it goes regardless.
