I lol'd at Team Anko. That was great. The evolution of Sasuke's character is very interesting. The dynamic your building between Sasuke and Hotaru is something I don't think I've ever seen before.

uhm yes a 'spar' uhm who is going to buy that shit? no one xD they are going to have a mini scaled battle xD of oly two persons but seeing what naruto and sasuke are doing what they clash whit the surrounding or orochimarus fight whit sarutobi if it even comes close tho that you would have a small battle

Interesting twist there at the end with Danzo and Hiruzen going into a spa; I can't seem to recall anyone that has done that before. You had some great set-up here for this chapter, and it makes me want to see where you plan on going next. The only thing I have to ponder is exactly how Ebisu managed to survive the mission to Wave; I don't seem to recall exactly how he got a team or how he could have survived an encounter with Zabuza. That might need some explanation.
