This actually has potential.
You really need to continue it.

Nice :)
I loved the last line :P If those words were true when applied to Merlin, all sorcerers would be 'good'... I guess Uther overlooked quite a few exceptions when he said them :D

Aw dear. Poor Arthur, poor Merlin. Great one shot, so much said with so few words. A difficult thing to master.

Uther's such a crazy king. When he comes back in the fourth season he's going to be all AHHHGG! MORGANA! HOW COULD SHE? OH WOE IS ME. I HATE MAGIC. And everyone will be like: ... Yeah. We know. Poor Merlin. Very nice drabble. I like how you stuck Hero!Merlin in between Uther's tirade to Arthur.

Brilliant! Short but wrenchingly deep and I loved the tension and sadness at the end.

short but powerful!
I love how Arthur's response to Merlin forcing him to reject everything his father has ever taught him is simply 'What am I going to do with you?' - haven't we all asked ourselves that question, Arthur... haven't we all...
Now I've read this, I'm fully behind this as a plausible reveal on the show as opposed to Arthur being all *gasp* "You have magic? You must die!"
love it!
I'm also a big fan of the irony you have going on in that last line "To know the heart of one sorcerer is to know them all."
just marvellous! :)

Hello!
Wow, you are very good at showing us emotion with few words! In this case it would definately have to be angst, guilt and conflict!
Despite being a short story, you have made it really powerful by including Uther's points of view in Arthur's head, which clearly shows us just how conflicted the poor Pendragon must be during Merlin's reveal. Best part for me is the very last line of Uther's... it leaves us in suspense and worry for Arthur's reaction and my lovely warlock's survival!
Well done! :-)
