Your ending is not much exciting. Since I am a Percabeth fan, I would strongly suggest for you to make an Aphrodite inspired ending... Hahaha. You could've done like this.
While Percy was staring at the ceiling, Annabeth suddenly bust into his cabin. They both said sorry to each other and found themselves in a deep and passionate kiss.
But anyway, this isn't a romance novel like you said, so your ending was good.
P.S. You could've changed the title to: This isn't a romance novel, but it turned out to be... Hahaha *JOKE*

I'm glad everyone liked it!
I wrote some other stories that I had written a while ago and I read them yesterday and I thought 'what is this?' and I realized that they were so horrible because everyone ended up happily every after.
That rarely happens in real life. Recent expierences have told me that, and so I thought I could write a story that would reflect not dreams, but reality.
As I wrote in the beginning, most people say how they break up and five chapters later, they get back together.
I am open for more ideas for another story.

That was the the saddest story of Annabeth and Percy Iv'e ever read,and Iv'e read a lot of weird ones like Percy becomes posessive and Annabeth leaves him for Nico.But i guess this one is the saddest because its a realistic posibility.I hope this doesn't happen*sniffle*.
