Poor Naomi. Rachel died and all she can think about is that she called Rachel a monster. We never really see how Rachel reacted to that but I'm sure she wouldn't want her mother to fixate on that for so long. Cassie just kind of took control with the funeral arrangements and it's sad that Naomi doesn't even feel that she knows her daughter at all. It's different that Dan noticed. Rachel changed so slowly and tried to hide it so much that it was more subtle while Dan saw the 2-Rachel's incident where both sides were acting weird. I'm glad that she was able to heal a bit by the end and even wish less misery on Jake. Her friendship with Loren, the mother of her daughter's boyfriend and the woman who also lost a child, was a nice touch as well.
