Even though not much happened, it was a cute moment. I love your characterization of Gale, how he'd help Katiss however he can and would stay up with Posy. Katniss noticing his knotting preferences was interesting, and actually made me think of Peeta (I have a memory of her telling him that about himself after he was hijacked?). Curious where the plot is going...

It's so sad to see what Katniss would have gone through as the lone victor... Too bad Haymitch hasn't been of much use to her. I'm curious if Peeta is going to be in this story... no mention on him yet. All the Gale and Kataniss moments are nice, though - I like how you portray them as knowing each other so well, and how he prodded her into talking and she agreed because she considered him strong enough to deal with it. Nice details.

i dont really know what to say/type. umm one thing would be that im excited for the next chapter and i guess that im not sure what to expect. like i can in no way guess what you have planned. to tell you the truth i was at first disappointed because i wanted you to continue the scene from last chapter but i actually really liked this chapter. okay well i guess thats enough rambling. i cant wait for the next chapter!

You know, it makes me feel bad that Katniss has to go through everything alone, with being a victor and all. At least in the books she had Peeta to be her solace, but now she has no one.

aww..I like that last sentence...I think they're sort of official, in a subtle way. lol...but the only problem is that Katniss is a victor, right? So, the Capitol won't ever leave her alone..
and hey what about Peeta? I assume she'll meet him and end up with him since you have Katniss & Peeta as the characters, not Katniss & Gale.
