I thought of this story today as I made farls for St. Patrick's Day. Still love and miss this one!

Months ago, I held off reading this final chapter (in anticipation of another chap or epi). This week I was reading a recipe for peach butter on smittenkitchen which reminded me of your story! so, here I am, finally finishing it.
I just adore Siobhan and the rest of your cast of characters, and I have truly enjoyed the journey.
Thank you for collaborating and sharing!

Dear Lord! How do I even begin to review this? I loved Edward and Siobhan's wee quiet moment before thay were interrupted by Jasper and his most distressing news. For everyone to just stand by and watch Embry as he struggled emotionally and physically with events was so heartbreaking.
Great interaction between Edward and Jasper and then Alice's big secret, what hopelessness and heartbreak she must feel (and Jasper too). The story of Edward as a child brought some relief to the tension and was a lovely touch, as was the bed conversation.
Sorry to be so vague, I just don't want to drop in too many spoilers for those who read reviews before reading the story!

i have thoroughly loved your story. It is a delight. You have woven a wonderful story of care and passion. The dialogue is real and personal between the characters and fully engaging.
Thank you for sharing your imagination and writing.

She gave him a home, something more than the four walls and promise of his peaches. All had bloomed since his strong, bright brindy-haired girl had come to him.- This is shy I crave peach cobbler every time I read this story.
I giggled out loud during the dress-making. You make it so easy to envision everything. I was taken on a joyous ride while Mrs. Cullen and her seamstress siren called to Mr. Cullen's inner horn-dog. They both have got some serious catching up to do when they are finally able to 'get it on'!
The river and Edward reaching for his pants to undo them - GAH!

Seriously? If your words were calories, I wouldn't be able to fit through an airplane door.
I can slurp, slop, slip, and suck on the delightfullness this tale simmers and boils upon the stove of your extremely talented brains.
Siobhan holds me in her work-roughened hands while Edward toys with my heart-strings, pulling and plucking at my feelings until I dance and follow them like a marionette.
Love you to distraction and back!

It's funny, because I never thought I would say this about this fic, but seriously... Mary Alice is a huge cockblock. :)
I love the story though :) Thanks so much for writing :)

I can't tell you how pleased I was to see this update! I've been pining away, wondering when I would get to see what happens next. I LOVE this story and tell everyone to read it whenever the chance arises. Anyway, this was just so full of info I don't know where to start. I love that Edward and Siobhan are getting more comfortable with each other. The homecoming was very touching. I'm off to read ch. 9. Thanks for sharing.

I love these two...and I am so sad that this journey is almost over. It has been such a great and amazing story. I also have a feeling that Banner had something to do with the death of Rachel. I hope that man gets what's coming to him! Great chapters!
XOXO

I think dear Edward thought he was going to be doing something other than modeling a dress. However he bore his humiliation with good humor. He at least got to peek at his wife's lovely round backside. He got to view other delectable parts when they met at the spring. What an adorable/hot scene!
I'm sad that there's only one chapter and an epi left of a story I've loved so much! I wish I could have this bound into a pretty hardback. I'll have to settle for rereading. Thank you both so much.

I was so thrilled to get two chapters! I've been thinking about your sweet story and hoping for more, so thank you very much!
Your Edward's kindness and goodness melts my heart. He was so respectful of his friend Embry's pain and loss. Then he took care of the hired horse first, which speaks to his fine character. He even commiserated with his cow. He is a good man.
Brindy has such a servant's heart. Her hands are always ready to work and help someone. It hurts her when she can't care for people.
Such a great job on Embry's impassioned grief! So intense, just painful to read. And Alice knows suffering as well, which you so faithfully described: "...three times I've lost my hopes into the chamber pot and known my baby was carried away by the night soil man."
I was so happy to find out the reason for Edward leaving their honeymoon bed. Bless his heart, he was only trying to do what he was taught was right. In all the seriousness of that conversation and the chapter in general, you two add humorous little tidbits like this: "Of course fine Kilkeel people like the Dr. Cullens wouldn't be laid one atop the other like cordwood in their beds."
