the kiss was beautiful. everything is beautiful. but the audience needs to see the wedding! and we need to see Gene (and everyone) react "FINALLY" hahah jk this is enough.
what Noll says makes sense though. now that i think about it, the witch would've still found her even if they had kissed on the balcony. the only way for her to truly break the curse is for the witch to die. so when she was killed... good riddance.
honestly i don't usually read Ghost Hunt AUs (when it comes to GH i'm more of a casefic kind of reader) but this one is up there among my favorite GH AUs, definitely. and i just reaaaally love your Naru, Mai, and Gene. you wrote them so brilliantly. Even the supporting characters such as John, i love how you write him with his child-like personality and wit intact.

nah i agree when i read the manga i thought it was kinda low for Hara to blackmail Oliver to go on movies etc especially when she knew he was distraught, searching for his dead brother.
like, really? he could've used any free time to investigate about Gene's location more. if it were simply friendly meals then it'd be fine, but the fact that it was blackmail... nah

it's kind of ironic how Gene is always telling Noll to just suck it up and act on his obvious crush on Mai, yet he's the one creating shoujo manha scenarios for Christopher and Annabelle
yet it's Noll who tells Christopher directly to just tell Annabelle to go out with him instead of creating more scenes that won't make them go out. it's like, dude, use your own advice! hahah

At the beginning of the chapter, you wrote "It had been months since her change in residence. . ." A few paragraphs later, you wrote "Two months ago . . ." Which is it? The first one had made it more dramatic!
I think you have the wrong idea for what an epilogue really is.
