She trained him, she should know he'd use her tactics back on her. He just had more patience then the others.

Oh. My. GOODNESS! That was AMAZING! The title completely threw me! Good job! And Oh wow, the beginning! Callen CARRYING Hetty? *tears in eyes* It's precious! PRECIOUS, I say! Great job! Car wreck! Such a great idea! You know that Hetty can't ever REALLY be sick. Oh wow. I love how Sam came along and so did Kensi. That was so fun. And I love that part at the end about end-of-the-year bonuses and how someone might not get one. And HOLY MOLY you had Callen get close to bathing Hetty! I was cringing and covering my eyes! Have you EVER TRIED reading while cringing and covering your eyes? It doesn't work so well. LOL! Took forever to finish the last part. But I did! And man, I'm SO glad you had Hetty spill! Apparently she was just as uncomfortable with the notion of Callen "taking care" of her as I was! So, we know Chris O'Donnell has paternal skills, but does G Callen? Hmm. GREAT WRITING, GIRL!

I like this one best.
My favorite part was where Callen was giving out the assignments for taking care of Hetty and he and Sam gave Kensi the sponge bath duty all because she was a girl and her "maternal instinct" would help her out.
And I think it would have been interesting to see what what have happened if neither Hetty or Callen broke when it was sponge bath time. And I think it was smart of Sam and Kensi to give in so that they could keep their christmas bonuses.
Great writing!

"For goodness sake, Mr Callen, I am not an invalid."
"No Hetty. G's right. You always take care of us, now it's our turn."
"And it is going to take the three of you to do it?"
Ha ha - I think it would definitely take all three of them to take care of Hetty!
"So, where does Kensi usually start? Feet?"
Hetty glared at Callen. "You are not going to do this, Mr Callen."
Great line there - I love how Hetty and Callen are always sort of challenging each other, but Hetty always wins, but this time Callen does.
Callen smirked. "So blackmail. I'm shocked Hetty."
There is always more to the story with Hetty! Great little oneshot - very funny - hope it got those creative juices going again!

"Callen walked through Hetty's front after Sam had taken care of opening it for him." - "Hetty's front door".
"For goodness sake, Mr Callen, I am not an invalid," Hetty protested when Callen picked her up and carried her up the path to her house. "No Hetty, you aren't," Callen conceded. "You are simply injured and for once you are going to let us take care of you as you have done us more times than we can count." Callen walked through Hetty's front after Sam had taken care of opening it for him. Kensi was coming up behind with their overnight bags. Sam had carried the shopping bags of food. "Here, here," Sam agreed as they passed him. "Mr Hanna," Hetty spoke sternly, though it didn't have quite the same effect as it usually did, even if she was at a higher altitude and closer to eye level with the tall agent. "No Hetty," Sam cut her off. "G's right. You always take care of us, now it's our turn." - AW, somebody hug that cute Sam Hanna!
"Hetty raised an eyebrow and looked at him over her glasses. "So you won't be giving me a sponge bath yourself Mr Callen?" she asked innocently. "I'm afraid not Hetty," Callen answered as neutrally as possible. "I have absolutely no experience in it and would not want to submit you to such a steep learning curve." "And I have?" Kensi asked in a disbelieving tone. "It's instinct for you, Kenz." Sam grinned at her. "Maternal Instinct. You'll just know how to do it without the trial and error." Hetty chuckled as Kensi looked like she was seriously considering doing Sam damage." - Hehehe.
Oh, the Lady Lange has a toy-boy...
"that there may be some differences between this year and last years." - "last year's".
"I was speeding and the young officer is one of my old friend's grandchildren that I persuaded not to put that small fact in the report. Unfortunately I had my usual identification on me and a speeding ticket wouldn't be a good thing for someone trying to keep her name out of official channels." "You bribed a police officer?" Callen asked putting on a shocked expression. "No," Hetty denied vehemently. "Of course I wouldn't do such a thing. I simply asked nicely." - I only ever knew my maternal grandma's friends (I think my paternal grandma did not have any on account of having been married to two utter ogres in her life and thus having to raise, virtually as a single breadwinner, nine unruly kids, of which the lest unruly was my dad, and those facts would have scared anyone off even ever trying to make friends with the late Beatrice Mae O'Connor-Valentine-Pearson), and none of them had even potentially hunky grandsons, bummer!
