There are definetly some things wrong with the world. As a result, there are quite a few problems with Fanfiction.net. One is that not many "readers" are looking for a well written story, as they are looking for a quick indulgence in action, or a smutty scene with their favorite pairing.
I'm not sorry to say that your story is amazingly well written, and its original characters are original (one would think it'd be self evident, but, then again, on ff.net as a whole, not a whole lot of OCs fit that criteria) and the overall plot and concept of the story are captivating. I am sorry to say that this story is essentially being shafted for those facts. It deserves so many more reviews than 8 (now 9). I hope you never think that this story doesn't get reviews because somethings wrong with it - because there isn't, and chances are it's better than thousands of stories in this fandom - and I hope you're proud whenever you look back on your work; it's, simply put, great.
On a note of style, the prologue was a bit jittery, and, while I enjoyed it, I believe a degree of your writing was lost on me for that fact. Not the shattered sentences of the Mad witch queen, but the POV change after the Queen's words. The preview of Chapter 7 seemed a bit strange to me, but it also serves to showcase your writing style.
From this review on, I promise not to drool (too much) over how well written the story is, but focus more on the characters, plot, word choice, etc.

things just got more interesting... the creature they're after is marionette that kills people for their souls so that he and his master can live on forever. i can't wait for the next chapter if there's gonna be one, i'm dying to know what happens next. this story has never failed to keep my attention. and it just increased my curiosity and interest as it went on. kudos. keep on the good work you're doing a splendid job i really don't see how you could improve your work any further.

you're doing a very good job i'm loving this story more and more. sorry for this being so short of a review, as of right now, i'm currently becoming sluggish and starting to get sick, but that won't stop me from voicing my opinion for each and every chapter.

ok this review will be for the two chapters i've read together. this story is totally captivating and thrilling. you're story is one of the most unique ones i've seen for a soul eater fanfic. kudos for being the first to create a soul eater fanfic that no ones ever done. the story is totally splendid. i'm excited to get onto the the next chapter of the story.

A rousing update. The last two chapters have been, as predicted, awesome. The concept of the marionette is an interesting one. Once again, I am dissapoint with the fandom for not giving you the love you deserve, but alas, it is out of our hands.
Keep it up.

Hey, keep your chin up champ. I just read the first chapter, and it was pretty fantastic. The reality that OC fics, even good ones, get few reviews is truly a shitty one.
But we gotta keep on keepin' on. It's like the Black Keys say: "Love is the coal, that makes this train roll."
That quote was only vaguely related to what we were talking about, but your author's note reminded me of it.
