This is a really well done one-shot! I like how you portrayed Phillip as a hopeful, desperate and determined man of God. A man who loves Syrena so much that he has dedicated, what is sure to be his last moment to her. That shows how selfless he is an how much she has impacted him. Great job!

This is pretty nice, but I don't remember it being sunny or even daytime when he finds her? In fact, I'm about 99.99% sure it was nighttime.
