This chapter is dumb. Sookie is definitely trying hard. Sookie not trying hard would be attacking every single one of the monarchs who know about her right now pregnant or not. Sookie not trying would be having an abortion. Sookie not trying would be breaking up with Eric. Sookie not trying would be doing everything she could to piss off Nessa. Thats renouncing Nessa and telling her she never wants to see her again because she wants free will. This is Sookie doing a DAMN GOOD job keeping it together.
