Did I say that I liked this quote- "Um, I'm going to have to go with no." It was very Merlin and made me smile.
I forgot to mention something, sorry! But if you have a quote like this- "I dare you," said he. "To go to one of the windows and serenade Violetta."
You should have a comma after he.
You have it right here- "Yes," he said softly, "Yes, I can do it."
It's just a grammar thing.
