That's one of the things that I find a little annoying about most anime/manga I enjoy - including Soul Eater. There is either too much romance, etc. for my taste, or too little that it is embarrassing, since (in the case of Soul Eater) the main characters are teens and we rarely see their...perverted/sexual thoughts (and actions) that are often associated with teenhood.
Stories/poems like this (as in, not unrealistic like most romance stories on Fanfiction) that could probably happen in-canon and capture the personalities and thoughts and actions of the characters...they offer the kind of insights that I feel is needed. They sort of "balance out" the plots that - in my opinion - do not have the realistic amount of romance and such.
This excellently captured the characterization and offered the insightful thoughts/interactions that I found somewhat lacking in Soul Eater. I could actually visualize the dancing imp - despite the dark nature of the poem, I realized I was smiling to myself as I read this.
Nice job...you have impressed me. Will you try to do so again in the future?

This really made me smile. I know it's kind of dark but I love that kind of thing so well done. It was all so dark and poetic, I especially loved the last two lines! :D
