And I love Hermione's description of her hairdo 'an unholy design of twists and braids'. Bitter...who would have thought it came to describe Hermione Jean Granger?

Truly a powerful piece! And I have to admire Hermione's spirit. To stand there and smile and pretend to be fine with the events occurring before her eyes must have been painful indeed. And how could Ginny do such a thing? That's not a very best-friend-ish thing to do!
In any case, I liked Hermione's voice: unsure, regretful and stoic; strong, despite how weak one would be in such a situation. It just makes me hope that somewhere along the way, because she and Severus Snape share a similar trait, they might end up together and nullify the 'bitterness'. Because, after all, two negatives multiplied makes a positive, right? lol! :)
