What a great surprise! Thank you! I have left my story Only the Lonely hanging for years unfinished. Just recently, I have started to re-read it (I cringe a lot at some things my fingers typed) with the intent to finally finish it. Why am I bringing this up...because I have come to realize you need to write for yourself...to tell the story you want to be told...and to tell it how you want it told. Ignore the reviewers, both good and bad. Write for you. If others don't like it, they don't have to put eyes on your words. Anon reviewers who like to dump on your efforts should just stop reading if they don't like it. It takes a special kind of jerk to hide behind the anonymous curtain and spew hateful words, knowing it cannot come back to haunt them. Shame on them. Karma is real...I believe that, so in the end the hate they put out into the world will come back on them. Write for you...many of us will still be here to read and enjoy your words. :)

I enjoyed this. Such a sweet story. The end was a bit off for me tho. Just left it leading to more. Like another chapter is planned or something. Oh well. Also, I don't know why you edited it down. I have read far, far, far more spicy lemons and violent stories here on that have an M rating. If anything, with the exception of the epilogue, id rate this under T for minor violence and sexual innuendo's. Other than that. Great story. Well done.

this was good. a bit repetitive when we got to Edward's pov. i skipped most of it, tbh. but the plot was amazing and very well-thought. the whole bella portraying a minor is insane, but it makes a bit more sense when you explain that she ended there because of emm's connection to it all. still, i think it is a bit cruel to make a 23 years old portray a 17 - still in school - kid. you take their freedom away by doing that. and that's what happened.

i had a great time. this was different from most of the bella in protective custody stories i've read so far. which is amazing. it is a shame this is not finished. i picked a habit of always checking if the stories i am reading have epilogues, because then it means they are complete. surprise me this had and epilogue but was not finished. i hope you come back to it some day (maybe in 5 years? 2023 is coming soon hahaha)

I feel he's really taken in by her. Couldn't she at least tell him how old she really is? Guess not...but it's normal for her to fall for a kind, handsome man like Edward!
