Great chapter very interesting lots of emotional turmoil and assurances as well, Severus is just afraid if Voldemort finds out that he has feelings for Hermione that he wants to get rid of her and that he would be the one doing it. Tonks just want's real food and tells Hermione why Severus might be so afraid as well. Poor Hermione can't shake of Voldemort after all and can't sleep or feels unsafe alone. More please *cookies for inspiration and the good work*

It's funny that everyone that knows about them can read his feelings and intentions toward her, but the two of them are the last ones still in the dark. You resolved their conversation beautifully and very in character. There is a sublte and yet profound change in their relationship, without mutual 'I love yous'. It's honestly quite brilliant! I can't get enough of Tonks and am really curious about Minerva & Moody. Also, Narcissa is starting to grow on me. Thank you for continuing this story, you are amazing!
