I feel so bad for Annabeth. This is one of my favorite reunion stories that I've read. Also, just to let you know, another author reposted this story. They made it clear that it wasn't theirs and belonged to you, but if soeone reviews it would be for that post of this, not the original.

okay, this isnt your fault, but i dont know where to say it. **i /hate/ how rick riordan made percy lose his memories. its so, so sad and stupid. we don't care about jason grace, we dont have five books of history with him.** okay. done. now about your story: the line breaks are a little confusing, it's true. but it was well done and sad. keep updating.

omg! i saw ur story on Brigid's Tumbler after i saw her drawing and i was liek O_O AHHH if burdge likes it then i would! she said that u had gotten annabeth's character down really well and tust me! ive read so many fanficions on here where the characters are portrayed nothhhiinnggg like the real thing BUT...YOU PORTRAYED THEM PERFECTLY! ahhh omg this story is like THEEE best percabeth son of neptune story ive read! u r very talented! and so is burdge-bug lol im soo not surprised you got inspired and wrote a whole STORY just from one of her pictures! she is an amazing artist who can touch the hearts of all with just one picture and your story did that for me as well! EXCELENT JOB! ;D

You, ma'am, are an amazing writer. This is seriously tear-jerking, and if Riordan trolls us and does anything of this sort in SoN, I WILL DIE. I love this couple too damn much!
But you wrote this fic to perfection (I'm a lover of angst, it's true). I really loved the changing perspectives, and how their thoughts could match up in many ways.

Ohmigoodness. I had seen the picture described before I read this - I love Burdge. It was actually from her tumblr that I found this. I love fan fics, especially short one-shots.
But this one, I can't even...
It's like you watch movies all your life and you love them, and some really are sad or heart wrenching, and you're like 'These are wonderful'.
And then you watch The Notebook.
And you can't stop crying. It's such a beautiful movie and it evokes so many emotions, and by far it's one of the best movies you've ever seen.
This is The Notebook of all short one-shot fanfictions. You could probably even just say The Notebook of ALL fanfictions. Not even just Percy Jackson ones. In fact, this is the first Percy Jackson fanfic I've read. And I was crying nearly at the beginning. And it wasn't one of those cries that sting your eyes and then five minutes later tears roll, it's the kind that just spill endlessly and effortlessly. The kind that only hard-core emotions can make.
You captured the characters PERFECTLY. Anyone who reads this, even if they don't like fanfics, will love it.
Thank you, for writing this and sharing it with the world. I have been ... blessed is the only word I can come up with, by reading this story.
