I love finding new stories in this genre. I consider anything published in the last year or so to be new.
I really liked this story. I think you captured the complexity of da'an's character very wellw ithout either making him too sympathetic or too unsympathetic to humanity. It's a fine line many, certainly not the TV series in later years, could walk.
I know this story is well over a year old, but I hope you will continue to write for EFC. It is still, fifth season not included, one of my favorite series.
