That transitioned rather quickly...and it didn't seem realistic. Perhaps if you had a little more inner dialogue about Morty...but I don't think it works that quickly in most cases. Not that it doesn't ever happen like that. But...I don't know. I think there should've been more of a relationship explained between them.
