Dang, I hope you're okay. Eye surgery sounds painful, but at least you can still see, right?
Anyways, this chapter was pretty good. Introducing some mystery with the painting of that Toad girl. The parts with the other characters were a bit bland, but I guess it's just because it was a break from Mario and Luigi's exploration of E. Gadd's place, something that I thought was well done and wanted to keep reading about. However, you did manage to keep some of the characters' emotions important in this chapter, like when Ada felt worried and regretted not joining the brothers.
Uh oh, monsters in da house! Too bad Toadette got taken down(?) first. But, at least she wasn't a major character, so I'm fine for now!
Anyways, thanks for the update, and I hope your eyesight will be all right.

This cannot be! Impossible! It's a miracle! YOU ACTUALLY UPDATED THIS FIC!? Oh, happy day! I knew wearing my four leaf clover underpants and lucky horse shoe bracelets for seven days straight was a good idea!
Seriously though, all joking aside, thanks for updating! This fic is awesome and I've been dying to see a new chapter for it.
Hmm, so E. Gadd is behind the monsters? Or, at least partly behind them since it seems he had a partner. Well, I doubt E. Gadd is still alive, but maybe the other person is. Maybe they can still get some answers as to what these things are...
Oh, I hope the brothers don't run into those beasts. Well, actually, I do, since it would add some excitement and suspense. But I really hope they don't get hurt!
I actually had to refresh myself on what happened last chapter so I could read this one properly. Not complaining, just hoping that updates will arrive a bit more frequently.
Anyways, thanks again for updating! I look forward to the next chapter!
