I find this story really interesting. The plot twist kind-of thing by now throwing Sakura in there will make things more interesting I think. One suggestion I could make is to use dictionary.com...in a couple instances you used mussel (any bivalve mollusk) when it should be muscle (a tissue composed of cells or fibers, the contraction of which produces movement in the body).
