You just marched yourself right onto my favorite authors’ list with this one! I love how well-developed the characters are, despite the fact that it’s a one shot. But fuck, why did it have to end there? Why isn’t it a multi chapter (and I mean like a million chapters) fic?
And I’m a hard-core Edward/Jasper shipper, so of course he didn’t do the right thing – by walking away, that is.

This was your only story sans angst...and it was still a little angsty for my taste.
Of course he did the right thing (in humping Edward). I just don't understand why he didn't stay...why they can't be together, and why Jasper says he'll never come back.
Also, does this take place in Canada? Alberta? Sounds like Alberta.
I liked a lot of the details you put in the story. However, you lost me in the lemon a little...all this lush description...and YOU know it's the only time they'll be together. I was left wanting to know MORE how it felt, smelled, looked, tasted. You did some, but I wanted more.
Of course, I'm a greedy b*tch.

I don't think he did the right thing. Maybe leave at that moment was Ok, although he should have told Edward. It was complicated with other people in the house, and after just seeing Bella, and it looks like he has someone else sort of. But he was wrong in leaving for good. They have something that they have at least to talk about, things that go years back. Bella is learning that keeping all inside, not talking about things, is killing her. It looks like this is an issue that all of them have. I think it was so sad! All those families, and friends, such hurt and dissapointment and disfuctional families. I hope they could sort all that out, they are so young.
You could continue this story and give them some healing? Thanks for sharing!

No of course he didn't do the right thing! He should maybe have slowed down a bit but leaving like that and never wanting to go back... There is still a lot unclear but really love it. Hope to see more of them!

I love the various quotes from canon oeuvre.
I love the way Jasper's hands on the peapod remind me of the way hands would play over Edward's backside.
Pop a peapod; pop his cherry.
Why do I think 'tell me true' is an ironic title? Secrets and half-confessions seem to abound.
So many intricate, convoluted family relationships. They make real connections so much more difficult to try. Everyone is only one or two degrees of separated from everyone else, and everyone is bound to talk, sober or drunk, for their own messed-up reasons.
Truth is a through-line Jasper doesn't seem willing to risk.
Love it!
