The last time Axmis ever saw his little sister was the five minutes he had to talk to her before she was sent on the train. Phoenix gave her brother her most prized possession. It was a lolita doll made especially to look like her. 'Daisy' is what she named the doll. Axmis promised to keep the doll, in memory of his sister.
Not long after, Axmis witnessed the death of his sister on live TV. She had a brutal death...hung by her neck for a slow and painful death. Axmis was never more devestated. Daisy, the lolita doll he recieved, angered him. It reminded him on how he couldnt save his sister when she needed him the most. How he just sat back and watched her suffer, as so did the rest of his family. He burned the doll in a fire pit, until it was nothing but ash. But it still continued to haunt him. Now, to this day, the word 'Daisy' is never muttered in District 3, for all know that if Axmis were to hear, his temper would go off, and leave everything in flames.

He wanted to be the first one to ever decline the riches. To claim that he only entered to protect his friend. To tell the capital 'I don't need your prize.' He wants to show the capital that they may have indeed made him play the game, but he fought because he wanted to. Not because they forced it on them, as the punishment it was supposed to be. He feels that if he does that, then maybe, just maybe, other victors would do the same as him, and the hunger games would come to an end.

Family: only his mom and him, his father died in a coal mine accident and he has no siblings
Parents: Basilia Verde and Dmitri Ayres

Pets: A dog called Buttercup after the color of his fur
Appearance- He usually wears black because he doesn’t go to school anymore as he has to support his mom and him, so he works in the mines despite his moms judgement. He has very old sneakers that he always wears.
Hair: He has short black hair that he lets hang loose.

History: When he was young, Valek would be teased because he was the scrawny one. He was just one of those kids that would be picked on for no apperent reason. When he reached the age of 7, his father was drastically killed in a mine accident, his attitude was changed forever. He used to be a very expressive person but he turned it inwards determined to never be weak again. At one point, he even viewed sleep as a weakness. Though he’s gotten over that two years ago, he still doesn’t sleep a lot because of his demanding lifestyle. He trains for two hours before going to work in the mines only to then sneak out of the barrier and go hunting for find some source of food for himself as normally his mother would have eaten without him, only then to sleep for two hours before doing it all again.
Friends from home: None as he’s always working, he is also too shy to make friends

Strengths: his mental and emotional defenses are very strong, he doesn’t let anyone peirce that barrier as he thinks he’s better off that way.
Weaknesses: He is clumsy and doesn’t think things through properly. He views love and affection as weaknesses, and though he may have had some crushes he never let them show.
Hobbies: Knife-hunting, self defense
Scars: he has slash marks on his back from speaking his mind one too many times

Childhood, Wes had a hard childhood, well not in the food and health way. He grew up healthy and always healthy but his parents brought him up strict. As if every moment of his life was boot camp. He was a only child so they always paid him attention, wanting him to be just like his father. Tough, strict, and heartless
While growing up Wes had a pretty sadistic and pride related. One day he got into a fight at school for someone who was making fun of him. He loved the thrill going through him. How his 'prey' cowered to his every hit. The sight of blood fueled him more. It was then he learned, that he loved giving others pain. So ever since then he never got talked to often, he was the ONE most intimidating in his school.
Wes never got to social, he's more of a brute then anything else. He has what he may call friends, but he doesn't trust them. He learned not to trust anybody. When he gets older he's planning to become a peacekeeper, knowing indeed that it will be much more interesting then sitting around.

Tough, heartless. Never experienced warm and loving emotions before. Like love and family comfort. He's only learned to be tough and to get rid of anyone in his way. So he's sneaky, cunning, and intimidating.

Loosing, appearing weak, shame. And...puppies.

Strength, speed, good liar

Childhood, Wes had a hard childhood, well not in the food and health way. He grew up healthy and always healthy but his parents brought him up strict. As if every moment of his life was boot camp. He was a only child so they always paid him attention, wanting him to be just like his father. Tough, strict, and heartless
While growing up Wes had a pretty sadistic and pride related. One day he got into a fight at school for someone who was making fun of him. He loved the thrill going through him. How his 'prey' cowered to his every hit. The sight of blood fueled him more. It was then he learned, that he loved giving others pain. So ever since then he never got talked to often, he was the ONE most intimidating in his school.
Wes never got to social, he's more of a brute then anything else. He has what he may call friends, but he doesn't trust them. He learned not to trust anybody. When he gets older he's planning to become a peacekeeper, knowing indeed that it will be much more interesting then sitting around.

Their dad is a former victor so he has high expectations. Their parents met in government. Someone on their mom's side of the family actually sponsored him during the games. They met through this person. They live in a very nice house, lavish furnishings the works!
Their highschool experience is limited. They got to go for two years before their parents pulled them out because they caught Tripple (the twin) kissing a boy goodbye one day. They were then homeschooled by a vicious tutor. They were constantly under pressure to exceed at everything. For this most kids their age hate them, but they want to be friends because of their stance in the district. The girls continued living like this until they turned 15. By then they had taken a test that stated they were above the average highschool student. After that they constantly trained. They went to extremes- not eating for weeks to train themselves for hunger, living outside, their parents purchased exotic animals like tigers and such that they forced them to fight with only knives and rope. Her parents actually made Acacia tame one lion, that she now keeps as a pet.
They don't have boyfriends, and aren't allowed to go out with friends. All their visits are monitored and they are under strict codes of conduct. At the begining of every month their rooms are 'cleaned'. This is actually their parents searching through their stuff and invading their privacy. Tripple is the more rebellious of the two... if you call keeping a diary rebellious! She also told Acacia that she hated the games. Acacia scolded her for this, stating that they were only in a comfortable living situation because of them. If you can I'd like a love interest for Acacia, and I want him to convince her how bad the games are. She believes in honor and integrity. She does not believe in intimidation. Where one person might scare a whole bunch of people they don't have any impact on her. Her and Tripple get along, but they don't often confide in each other. They are often forced to go to balls and dress up for big family meetings. Since her parents were eligible for the hunger games before the rebilion, they had trained for the games, just like every other kid. Pepper's dad was a victor and Slade's mom was a trainer. They had both planned to volunteer for the games, before they even knew each other, but the rebellion happened. Pepper's mom has forced miracle to train for the games since she was 5, even though they weren't going on then. Dew had gotten out of training because her mom thought she was to big of a baby to waste her time and money on, but Pepper plans to train Echo. Miracle has loved training though, she has wanted to go to the hunger games, just so she can bring home victory to her district, and to show off her skills.
Friends from home:
Steel- a very cute, athletic, 18 year old guy who trains for the games with Miracle. He's is the strong but silent type, and doesn't talk unless it's important. Has short dark blonde hair

Since her parents were eligible for the hunger games before the rebilion, they had trained for the games, just like every other kid. Pepper's dad was a victor and Slade's mom was a trainer. They had both planned to volunteer for the games, before they even knew each other, but the rebellion happened. Pepper's mom has forced miracle to train for the games since she was 5, even though they weren't going on then. Dew had gotten out of training because her mom thought she was to big of a baby to waste her time and money on, but Pepper plans to train Echo. Miracle has loved training though, she has wanted to go to the hunger games, just so she can bring home victory to her district, and to show off her skills.
