Well done. Not really OOC; both behaved quite as one would expect given the circumstances of the plot. I like SSMM; she's the only major canon character that fits with him. (I find Granger tiresomely pedestrian, no possible match for him even if they were contemporaries. And Evans, of course, was a false friend from long before the final rejection.)

I liked their characterizations. Thanks!

Yes, Minerva is *still* covering for her Golden Marauders in her heart, or she wouldn't have so many mental objections whenever Severus alludes to them. But even she can see the newly-minted Trio is likely to become another such headache, though in a different way, especially for a pair that really wants to keep Harry Potter alive (unlike the Headmaster, alas).

And I love that they have a Halloween tradition now.

I just LOVE Severus/MInerva - pairing!

Really enjoyed the story!

Keep up the good work!

OOC? Believe me, if it was, I would have stopped reading after the first paragraph.

Weird pairing? Of course not. One of my favourites. I think they are extremely well suited (despite the age difference). Their relationship is very dynamic and I love reading about it when it is well written.

You were right to indulge in writing this. The muse must always be indulged.

Waiting _patiently_ for the next chapter of 'The Remnants'.

Weird pairing? Not from my perspective! MM/SS is my het OTP; I love them together. And I don't think they're all that OOC, either - Severus is as snarky as ever (I love his "I'm not an invalid" growl), and you make their lovely Halloween tradition quite plausible. Minerva is as crisply competent as I'd expect her to be, and if the two of them are a little soft on each other, so what? They deserve it!

I really enjoy missing-scene fics like this one, and we can never have too many Minerva/Severus stories. Thanks!

Not a weird pairing at all when handled so deftly and skillfully! As a matter of fact, yours are the only MM/SS stories that I enjoy so thoroughly. Thanks for the early Halloween pressie!

Oh, lovely! What a wonderful and fitting missing scene. I always found it particularly sad that Snape seemed to have to deal with this nearly alone, and am happy that you give him a much better option with this. Love their banter, too, the easy friendship they seem to have, and the rest between them, of course, too *g*.

What an excellent story to enjoy before I go off to work. Not OOC, not a weird pairing, and if you're inspired to write light stuff like this, I'm not going to complain! XD

Ah! I don't think its a weird pairing at all! Neither is it OOC (which is a huge compliment coming from me). You really have a talent for subtlety. I'm only sorry there isn't more to this story and that I haven't seen more posts from you recently. I loved the setting. No one writes about the early years very often. Thanks for posting!

I thought this was a very interesting fic and a fascinating pairing. The interplay between Minerva and Severus was nicely done too and I loved the idea of their tradition and how it has grown and developed over the years.
