I loved it! Awesome job! I haven't looked to see if you've continued it or not yet, so I won't tell you to. If you haven't, I think you should. IT WAS AWESOME!

I actually was going to wait to reply at the end, because that's what I usually do, UNLESS something like this pops up! I actually like Logan/Rogue being father/daughter! I love how protective he is of her, and I'd love to see the dynamic of him and Remy when Logan knows he's dating his daughter! Awesome! Still reading!

I've found your story and I'm reading it right now, one year and a half after you finish it. I'm so excited about your story, I'm in a dead time on my job and I'm reading it hahaha. . I'm willing to want to know what's happening next!
By the way, I like that song!

Slight correction. "Maybe" in French is "peut-être"

"Everyone can relax, Gambit has returned." Is one of my favourite quotes from X-Men the animated series and I couldn't resist putting it in. yeah, this sentence is a killer, isn't it?

Mmm I got a clear picture here (in the bathroom)!
French lesson time!
Get dressed mon femme that's something you can't say in French because their relationship is note quite enough to use this (you'll understand why later). Remy should have said : "Get dressed, mademoiselle" (Get dressed, young lady).
Using "femme" in this sentence "Get dressed, ma femme", implies that they're married. In French, "femme" sometimes (when used with a possessive word : ma (my), ta (your) etc ) means "wife" and, I bet it's the same in Cajun French, so Remy should have known it.
Vous êtes la plus belle femme vivante You are the most beautiful woman alive. the translation is correct, but that's something we don't say. We'd say "Tu es la plus belle femme au monde". Skipping from "vous" to "tu" implies a bigger intimacy between the two of them (in English, "tu" and "vous" is "you", but in French, "tu" is for the intimate or informal relationships when "vous", is for the formal or not so casual relationships. Then, we just don't say "alive" in order to make a statement. Here, we have to settle with "au monde", that is to say "in the world", I bet that's enough!
Those little French details set aside, your story is really enjoyable!

"Creed had always wondered if Magneto listened to Metallica, but had never felt it appropriate to ask."
I think that's the funniest think I've ever read about X-men! That's beyond excellent... that's succulent!
French Time : just remember that Remy should say "Ma chère" and everything will be perfect.

Hi! Encore moi! (me again!)
No mutants here? That's interesting. I like Alternate Universe fanfics (if they're not too alternative!).
You have a good start here and I'm eager to read more of it.
Before skipping to the next chapter, here you have some remarks. Please, note that this is done in a kind spirit, and coming from a French point of view, so, maybe I was badly taught about how to write those words, but the spelling just seemed awkward to me.
when his father asked his to do a job. when his father asked him to do a job? / when his father asked his son to do a job?
to take in the sites of lovely ladies in convertibles. to take in the sight of lovely... ?
but no the less, her suit but nonetheless, her suit... ?
and was possible one of and was possibly one of...?
Let's skip to the French part (I'm much more at ease here!)
Mon chere is Mystique's daughter? Ma chère is... ("mon" is the masculine form of "my", "ma" being the feminine form that your have to use here because "chère" is in the feminine form, because related to a woman. The masculine form of "chère" is "cher"... like the singer! So, if Rogue was to speak about or to Remy using "cher", she'd say "Mon cher" (masculine form))
tomber en amour tomber amoureuse (feminime form) / tomber amoureux (masculine form)
That's all! Hop! to the next chapter!
Bye
Iris
