I want to say from the bottom of my heart, this is absolutely one of the best fics I've ever read. I know that I am very very very late to the party. But some of us out here are still reading fan fiction! This is perhaps the most original work I have ever seen. It was well written, well thought out, exciting, sweet, poignant, and best of all Edward had a tail! Love love love love love! I cannot recommend enough.

Hi there! Happy Holidays to you! Just wanted to let you know that I was about to rec this fic on Kay Richard's Advent Calendar of Fics on Facebook but it was already recommended. But I still wanted to reach out to let you know my thoughts. A week or so ago, I started to watch Avatar for the first time in an effort to get ready for the sequel. I didn't get to finish the movie but of course, the big blue characters and the tails reminded me of your fic so I went back to re-read it. And I enjoyed it even more the 2nd time around. But what really hit me was OMG! Your story, written over 10 years ago, was almost a foreshadowing of what has gone on in this country in the past six years. I'm not trying to stir up political controversy in my review, but seriously, this just hit so close to our reality! I even thought that Edward's fever at the end was a foreshadow of what we went through in the pandemic. WOW! SO SO amazing that you wrote this way before any of that happened. So, thanks so much for writing this and sharing it with us. Again, I hope you have a wonderfully blessed holiday and a great 2023! Take care.

I find Alice to be rude by barging into their home uninvited every day and not giving Bella and Edward privacy. It also rude to barge into someone’s home while they’re sleeping.

I find Alice to be rude bargain in their home uninvited and coming to their home uninvited when they are on their honeymoon. Also Alice had no right to call Bella dumb when she didn’t know that Edward was posing, fact that she still learning their costumes.

That story was totally far out, pun and idiom intended. I can't say that it makes the least bit of sense (especially the part about earth women being genetically compatible but still requiring genetic manipulation?) but fortunately it doesn't need to. It was a great example of the space opera genre. I almost never do this, but I would like to recommend that you look up a series of books on Amazon by Michael R. Hicks called "In Her Name" you might really enjoy them.

My dumb self didn’t pay that close attention to Edward’s description and pictured him like the Alien in the movie Alien. Upon reread I realized my mistake and when I tell you it makes a lot more sense now how the species are compatible

This is the 3rd. time I have read this. This is so good! It was always in the back of my mind to read it again. I am a syfi fan and this is the kind of story that I love. Thanks for posting this.

I no longer have access to my account but I think I read this in 2014? 2013? For the first time. Every few years I find myself reading this again. I'm literally tearing up writing this. If if you will ever see this but I hope you have been well and just know years later. Your work still brings a comfort to others.

My name is Nevaeh and I have re-read the story a grand total of four times! I cannot believe that you’ve created an entire fictional society, it’s incredible. The planets are so creative. I love Rose in this story, she is amazing! I’m so glad that Bella doesn’t have a huge aversion to gifts in this one, obviously she still does, it was only addressed briefly however. Mating stories have always been my favourite, but the men were way to aggressive, Was it possessive, controlling? That’s why I don’t have many of them in my favourites, although I’ve tried and searched one that’s just like this. Resident stars is amazing, it’s the perfect combination between a mating story, A family adventure, and a drama. There are so much fluff, but also a lot of drama and it’s fast pace and action packed and it’s amazing! I could continue to point out everything amazing about it, but it would probably take away too much room for you to read my praise. Just let me tell you, this story has become a timeless classic in my eyes, and even if I come to hate it somehow, I will never remove it from my favourites because it’s one of the first fanfiction is that I have ever read that drew me in like that. you have an amazing talent for writing, keep it up Lyssa.
