Wow. Just wow. I don't know if you read reviews for this fic anymore since it's been quite a while since you completed this story, but I still want to write one to rave about how talented of a writer you are. I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Keepsake– it read like a professional book with a great arc and the story development had a nice touch of intimate moments that didn't feel like overkill. The way you wrote both Bella and Edward was lovely and you did a wonderful job of retaining their original characteristics while still allowing them to grow and change for the better.
Man, I truly wish this fic was part of the actual Twilight canon because you did justice to many of the things I have never been a big fan of when it came to the toxic nature of Bella and Edward's relationship. I always found it really weird that Bella was able to sweep all of the trauma she had under the rug as soon as she got reunited with Edward in New Moon and I love that you allowed both characters to express their emotions about the impact of Edward leaving. On top of that, the memory loss on Edward's end was a great way to humble him and prove that he can in fact change despite his unchanging vampire nature.
Overall, fabulous story with a great amount of twists and turns. Thanks so much for taking the time to write it!

This story was just amazing from beginning to end.. but I loved how loosing his memory and gift actually made him see things differently and even tho he didn't remember her he still loved her but didn't become overbearing even after he figured things out and eventually remembered loved the ending and the name of their son

I must admit that the epilogue was difficult to me. My mom died unexpectedly, not too long ago, and I guess I will never truly get „over it“, so I might be crying a little right now. I love Alexander and all the things you rectified, like Carlisle‘s and Edward‘s relationship.

And another great chapter! What a pleasure to read, thank you! I was anxious with Bella, hoping that the old Edward wouldn’t come trough again. And I am proud of Bella, she is growing soooo much!
Also, I love how much Jared still loves Kim. And of course it‘s great how accepting the tribe has become. Since you rectify all the mistakes in canon, I knew you would find a way to confront Bella with the reality of her choices. And I am very happy that she made the decision she did.

*gasp* I saw NONE of this coming. What a huge frikkin plot twist! I can’t believe it! This is such a clever way to show Bella the reality of a life as a vampire and also a great idea to let Jacob learn to deal with the whole situation. I wonder how Edward and Bella will feel being apart for so long..

Ok I’m ready for a sequel to this one. You covered a lot in the epi but I’d love to see it in a book. I’ve never read a story where she keeps both her parents. It was so nice seeing her be able to keep everyone she loves.
