I've just found this story. While the story in general is well written, the end of this chapter is something special. It is powerful and evocative, and very well done.
The familiar bits from SM's Twilight are dropped like breadcrumbs throughout. The common conviction of the young that they are the first to ever deal with a longstanding problem is a backdrop to this story. The idea that Charlie, Billy, etc dealt with the same situations long before the Cullen's came by changes so much about how you see the older generation, yet presents nearly the same picture to the outside world. Bella gets clues to it, but hardly enough to guess the truth of her Dad's life.
Good stuff! Must read more now. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!

Oh no! I broke my rule to never start a story that isn't complete! Your story just sucked me in from the get go and I was so sad to see that it's not finished, right at the climax too! Please finish this story, I would love to see how this turns out!

Damn, sh*t is goin down & Im afraid this story is not complete.

I almost thought Bella was gunna tell Charlie she knows after they left the cemetary.
- Poor Charlie, it must hurt to realize what he is discovering about his Q friends..
- The way u described the phasing literally Breaking the body over time makes so much sense. Instead of keeping them young, it makes them old. Logical.
- The story still seems fantasical, I love it... I love the relationships u made ur own way.
- The best seems yet to come, but not many chapters left.- hmm.

It's obvious Billy knows Edward has been visiting Bella.- I'm glad he didn't tell Charlie.- Charlie stresses & freaks out enough.

U have a badass way of casting a spell w/ the words of ur story.
I wish I had a small portion of ur talent, buy since i don't, i am happy to indulge into urs. :)
- Edward has already had contact w/ Bella, so we know his tortured self control is in tact.
I guess Charlie will just have to see how this plays out for himself
