This was a terrifically enjoyable story! I felt like I was living my own Regency fantasies alongside Hermione and her guests. Regency Week at Hogwarts, what an irresistible idea. You wrote this so well, fleshing out even the minor characters very satisfactorily. I loved how you planned and weaved together all the engaging (see what I did there?) subplots. Beautifully done!

A nice story, curiously mixing Jane Austen appreciation into an already rather conservative wizarding world. The slow burn felt a bit too drawn out by the last chapters, but not in a way to overshadow the whole read. My only real disappointment was the continuous use of the slur to describe the Romani people that the writer employed in a couple of chapters.
Extra points for lgbtq representation! It was refreshing to see a number of queer characters in the mix. It was also really nice to see that what started as Ron-bashing turned in a more mature and happy direction by the end. But what happened to the idea regarding the love potions having some lasting effects and forever affecting the relationship with a person?! That's a pretty huge plot point to add and a rather jarring miss that it was not addressed again. This idea made huge ramifications for Ron's new relationship as it changed the innocence of it completely. I kept waiting for it to come to fruition or even to see a reveal that a new love potion was being used on Ron, making his new relationship completely non-consensual. It was equally hard to suspend my disbelief that Snape would keep mum about it as if he's forgotten it. I feel like taking out that line about the love potion mechanics would've made the story better overall instead of adding a strange shadow to it and mudding up the plot. That said, a cute light story like this one can certainly survive some plot holes, even if they are writer-created.

OK, I'm done with this fic. Ron bashing and making him OOC is lazy and not necessary. If you can't get your Hermione and your Severus together without flanderizing competing love interests then maybe they're not such a great match to begin with.
