Well actually, Kefka does have a known background, if only briefly described. According to what we know, Kefka was the Empire's first experimental magitek warrior. While Kefka did successfully gain great magical potiential, the procedure was unfortunately flawed at the time and shattered his mind as a result, turning him into the mad jester we know.

It takes a really greatly written OC for me to enjoy them, especially in something I hold so near and dear. Kenshin is excellently portrayed and the story flows very well. I imagine this story must have a decent flow of readers for you too still be writing it with only 9 reviews "one being my own". Whatever way this is going I'm glad that I could read it. is this kenshin going to be like Kenshin Himura, and able to use the Hiten Mitsurugi Style? I'm curious...cuz if that style is going to be used...then Kenshin will end up having a slightly bigger advantage at the very least.

Great job on the story! I don't think you should have Cid die, considering that Celes is a good "grand-daughter"? I forgot. But I found it unhappy for him to die, since my favorite character is Celes and she had been such a good person. I spend and hour trying not having for Cid to die. Continue!

this is a pretty good story, and I actually wish I had found it earlier. I'm also glad to see that you are continuing despite the fact that it doesn't seem to be getting the attention it deserves. So far everyone seems to be in character and your OC doesn't seem like a Gary Stu so far.
