I really enjoyed this more melancholy chapter, and I like the parallels you create with the unrequited love between Pocahontas-Kocoum and Kocoum-Nakoma. My one suggestion would be to edit the opening scene a little just to make it clearer. It's not immediately obvious who's saying "Do not look so shocked" (and I'm still not sure - is it some unnamed friend?) and describing the moon on the snow feels at odds with Nakoma being inside her hut.

Such an awesome chapter to this series! The song fit perfectly with your writing and the dialogue was well placed. Overall, this story was well written, as usual, perfectly timed (it didn't drag on- no kidnapping readers), and you could understand the perspectives of the couple piecing back together their lives and hearts! Bravo!

Aw, this was very sweet and perfect for the holidays.
I loved the entire exchange between them and how she threw her gloves into the fireplace as they were leaving together. Nice imagery.

Great plot, you almost made me feel sorry for him- note I said almost. It's ironic, but I read this chapter while listening to Drunk on Love by Rhianna and it made this chapter even more powerful and thus I felt for JR a bit. Perhaps you could write a chapter where JR finds another "love" after Christmas in a "New Year" (This would work considering he married a 3rd time and had a daughter after the real Pocahontas' death).

I am in the process of moving, so sorry this is late. This chapter was hot, nothing like Christmas smexyness. This was so cute and passionate. I can't wait for the rest, perhaps you could keep this going until New Year's.

You like these little family scenes, don't you? I know I do. I love the comparision between JOhn as a child and his interactions with his children in the second part. So fliipin' sweet.

I love reading this fanfiction the storylines are so adorable. I like how you don't always make it in the christmas season but just in the winter setting becasue somehow it makes me like reflect on the magic of christamas. These is a perfect fanfiction for the christamas season.
