Ok, now I'm starting to cry. I've been reading these on my phone, but I always take a minute to look through each one again before I comment to see if there was anything specific I wanted to say...and this one made me get downright teary. Very sweet and heart-felt. Thank you!

What a sweet story! I can just imagine Jennifer getting all excited around Christmas, especially when she has to celebrate it in another galaxy. :) It's such a special time of the year.
And of course Ronon goes with everything she does. :D That scene in the gateroom with the trees was funny. I can just picture Ronon wanting to take home the tallest tree he can find for his girl.

Finally took time to sit down and read this story ... really enjoyed this slice of Christmas shared by our favorite couple. Especially enjoyed him insisting on getting her a tree himself.

Aww, so sweet! I had a smile on my face the whole time reading this - can totally empathize with Jennifer and her approach to tree decorating. Mine only has history that starts with me but I add a decoration every year and some of the early ones have special meaning with first Christmases for kids and such. Yep, even have a 'first Christmas together' decoration like Jenn wanted for her and Ronon. So I think you did an excellent job of showing her decorating their tree and the meanings behind everything and bringing Ronon's understanding forward on the tradition of it. And of course I enjoyed Lorne's brief and amusing appearance ... I can well imagine how huge that tree would have been that Ronon wanted! Well done you!

This was a nice, sweet story. And I love a good fluffy story. My favorite parts had to be Ronon's insistence to get her a tree and the both of them going through the ornaments. Thanks for posting it and making the day brighter. :)

There were so many great parts to this, from die hard to the stories behind the decorations to Jennifer's contagious happiness. But my favourite part has to be Ronon insisting on getting her tree.
