I return to this every few months since I binged it the first time back in April 2021 while protagonizing AP Lit work. I’m now a Junior in college, so it’ll be four years in a few months, and I still finding myself back here. This was the very first Tomione story I read, I’d avoided the pairing in favor of Dramione since I was 11. I find myself craving the relationships you develop and depict in this story and your absolutely beautiful worldbuilding. I’m also a massive fan of Hermione’s hermit, Alchemist, Dearborn father. He’s the absolute favorite parent of all the time travel AU fics I’ve read, which is hard to do when you’ve got Charlus and Dorea Potter. Anyway, gonna go read now. And then probably read more Tomione. Much love!

I left this story behind in 2019, thinking it would be one of those that would never be finished. You don't know how happy I am to return in 2024 to see that it's been completed for me to finally read. Thank you for writing it, taking it to its end. It's been a lovely experience. Cheers!

This is mu first review ever, every Tomione i have ever read it's always Hermione allured by the dark side. but you made it so normal that she pulled Tom to a new way. you made me feel like I'm there , likr I am witnessing sweet Tom turn into that monster and back again. I feel like I saw the world turns into ash and rises again from it. I found this story while I'm at my lowest and you made me feel the magic again, magic i didn't feel since the original Harry potter and then Debt of time.
So thank you, thank you for saving Tom Riddle's soul and for turning on some light into mine.

Absolutely amazing, you made me feel as though I was there, in the mountains of Wales, in the wars of Muggle London, in 1944; your descriptions of them falling in love made me believe, made me love. I have read many stories but this one truly transported me into a different world. I fell in love with everything and everyone in this story.

I don't usually read Tomione but this fic was recommended in a Facebook group I'm in so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did, I really loved it! So well-written and I really liked your characterization of Tom and how he slowly became Voldemort. Loved the last chapters and everything Hermione created as well.
