I was sad for Stella (I swear I could feel tears coming on) but then he told her he loved her...so...I'm happy again.
What is up with his dad? Can he not see through the cheerleaders' facade? Well, at least Ray and Stella will make it in the end. I mean, you're writing the story, which means that Ray and Stella HAVE to make it or the world's coming to an end. xD

I'm so glad she found the necklace! Yes, it's short...but that's understandable. The chapter is still awesome, though because you used the little words you had to bring up something deep and powerful about Stella. Now we can identify with her more.
