The unfortunate one-eyed guy even said that anything can happen on the field, just like on a mission, and he was being evaluated as if he were on the field, not in a damn tournament. This makes no sense. So Naruto was only strapped to the table to keep him for using hand seals. But from what I read there is no indication that he can't access his chakra. At any time he could have pulled on the kyuubi's chakra to escape the straps on the table and killed the doctor before any of these experiments were carried out. Also the spinning room that he is tied to a pole and forced to run, he could have easily jumped in the pole and stuck with chakra to give himself a rest. And that's not to mention the uzunaki regeneration he has could easily deal with the toxins being pumped into his body to throw off the experiments. And make him more resistant to them as the doctor proceeds.

Its been so long heads up emails are playing up again so may not get many reviews since alerts are shot.
Looking forward to more interaction with the people of wave especially towards Hinata. One point I find odd though is Megumi being able carry the sword at all hope that gets explained.

Oh between them being after Hinata's Byakugan and taking Zabuza's sword I see a very dark ending for out criminals.

I was very surprised and pleased to see this story updated, thanks for the new chapter! I kind of figured Naruto would end up beating some a$$, but this definitely looks like it's shaping up to be chakra-darkening situation. Personally, I'm really looking forward to Hiashi sending out some Jōnin after Naruto… and they never come back!
