I absolutely loved this! It was well written and they were in character, which is rare, and I loved all the comfort-ness of it.

You know it's really weird because I started reading this story after reading another one of your fics to find that I've already read it before. I mean I must not have had an account or I'd surely have reviewed but anyway... After reading it for a second time I seriously don't even know how to begin to review this entire story.
First of all I thought the whole story and the ideas, plots and themes were amazing. I loved at the start when they had to change their appearance and act as a couple for the mission. It was oh too adorable when Remus said that he found Tonks more beautiful when she wasn't morphed. And his reaction to the creepy guy was brilliant, Remus is never portrayed as angry but I think he's not really angry when someone hurts or offends him cause he thinks he deserves it but when it comes to his friends, and Tonks, I imagine he would be bitterly loyal towards them and very angry at anyone who tried to hurt them in any way. So yes that was totally understandable and just great.
Tonks feelings around Remus were brilliant; I loved how her hair kept turning pink when she felt all lovey and out of focus... That was too cute. Their banter was great as well. They were portrayed very well and their characters were written in perfect detail and clarity, making me feel like I could really relate to them and their emotions. I think when your reading a story and the happy bits actually make you feel happy and the sad bits make you feel sad is the sign of a truly good story and this definitely done that for me.
The attack: wow that was so emotional. It was truly horrific for Tonks and I felt so sorry for her during it. It was also pretty bad for Remus to see Tonks that way. I can understand completely why she would want him to leave. She wouldn't want him to see her in such a vulnerable, and by her words, weak state and wanted to be alone during this. It was a shame what she said to Remus but at the same time I think many people would react that way, especially Tonks and this made the story better to relate to.
Molly was just perfect in this too. She was every bit the caring, protective, mothering figure I always imagine her to be. She's always there for people and she is the type of person you wouldn't mind sharing your deepest vulnerabilities with. She was simply great in this story, with Tonks, with Remus and just in general. It was good for Tonks to be able to go to someone like Molly who is very mothering but not so emotionally close that she is her actual mother. This was important for Tonks and it was a great part of the story.
Now, when she tells Remus what happens, wow, I felt so sad for her, for Tonks to be in such a vulnerable state shocked me. But it was very realistic as well. She was ashamed, she wasn't thinking straight and she was sad and shocked. This was all portrayed amazingly well. I can understand Remus' reaction as of course he would feel guilty for not protecting her and he would definitely feel anger towards those who'd hurt Tonks. Again, easy to see how in her vulnerable and confused state, that she picked this up wrong.
I loved it of course when the story became happier for the couple. It was great how they finally admitted their love for each other and their happiness was just infectious. I also love how she feels really safe with Remus and I can totally imagine Sirius laughing about that. I also liked how you portrayed Remus' and Tonks' insecurities about each other and how they helped each other overcome these.
Overall, it was a beautifully written, amazing story. The characterisation was absolutely brilliant and the whole story was very creative and unique. I just loved this story, even after reading it a second time, it was just brilliant. :)

wow.. all I can say is, this was seriously brilliant. the way the events led up to the perfect scene where they say I love you, and how it finishes off with them being close.. just brilliant :) I have to admit im a little disappointed that there weren't any more golden chapters, but i do think its sweeter this
way. anyways, just wanyed to say thanks, and this was worth the late-night reading :)

This whole story was just amazing. I love her vulnerability and the way that he's so patient with her - that's just so very Remus. They're so sweet together. Brilliant! :D

You seem to have a knack for writing Remus and Tonks - you just capture them brilliantly! Are you planning on writing any more about them soon? I hope so!
All those hints sound just like Sirius, too. A wonderfully perceptive look at both of them! Well done, I'm off to read the next chapter! :)
