Nice chapter as always. But now that I think about it, what would happens to the remaining Protoss once Amon start to mind fuck everyone using the Khala? Will his reach extend that far? Or will they be spared? Or perhaps the Hybrids and a force of Amon's Zerg brood will start making their way there. Now that would be quite interesting. "You thought the Legion and Undead was bad? Son, you ain't seen nothing yet."

Sorry it took so long to review. I'll probably be rereading this a few times. I do enjoy the story. I will say that it does sound off that the Protoss is saying their going to look after here. You may want to change it that their setting a temporary colony here while their staying for a while. It would make sense by how this world works.
But if anything with such massive power and other things the races would be a bit on edge of the Terrans though especially since they view them as so different from anyone else but still it would be so interesting seeing them view them as that way. I can probably picture how intimidating they would be when they talk to a terran due to the size different with thick metal armor.

I'm mostly curious about what Arthas and the lich king are doing. With Archimonde gone and Illidan not trying to melt Northrend the undead should be growing on power. Also unlike the protoss terrans should be more susceptible to mind control magic such as possession.
Without an army of telepaths they are basically a walking mine of warriors and resources waiting for recruitment by the scourge

Maybe you can have the night elves question the terran's philosophy on war. and in turn have the terran explain that to "them" war is not a pretty thing, especially when both sides are trying to decimate each other, no matter how much one side tries to pretty it up with honor, justice or right and wrongs. Maybe mention an "if anything, the most righteous thing is to win as fast as possible utilizing any means, so that less friends or allies die."
Looking forward to your next update. Been loving every moment of this story.

Damn clever use of the drill I'd say. Jim must've been channeling Gurren Lagan when he made that decision. :D
I do kinda wish Artanis' farewell had a bit more beef to it, just seemed a bit hurried... though that does kinda line up with the Protoss' current mindset I guess.

I agree completely with the laser drill thing, I personally loved using it in the game, blowing up archon was never so easy. You know, with how the elves reacted to just the marines, I wonder how they feel about the Hellions.
