Oooh, this is interesting! So far it has the makings of an excellent story, not just a fanfiction. Of course, the same can be said of all your stories with a little name-changing. ;) Keep it up!

Things I loved:
-Kit talking back and fighting back, because tough girls are awesome
-Uncle Charlie. Namely fact that he's a feminine gay men, a total badass, AND Irish.
-The Black Rabbit. You have no idea how thrilled I am that you made narrative use of the Black Rabbit. ^_^
-FOOTSTEPS. I literally squealed. You have her down so perfectly it's scary. 3
-Your writing, which has always been amazing, and shall always be amazing, and I am super jealous, and will you maybe co-write something with me someday? Because I would throw lots and lots of confetti and bounce off the walls.
This story fills me with such joy! Please update soon! My reviews will only get longer and more rambley! Which, um...is a good thing, right? (I'll try to keep rubber chickens and dynamite out of them, at least.) (Long story, don't ask...)

Haha, excellent chapter. I like Kit, I like that's she's honest about who she is. That she knows she can't be trusted, and that she can be as petty as just about anybody. :) Great chapter, I'm excited to learn about her past and her Uncle Charlie just might be my favorite character thus far!
Although, I'm curious about Footsteps. Maybe she will become more than a minor character in the future? Hmm. Update soon :D

I am BURNING with curiosity, so I do hope you update as quick as you say. Might I add that I've been really in need of an original, wonderful story to read? Well, I have and I'm excited to see where this will go. Kit is already a favorite of mine. :)

Stop. Stop everything. This is one of the best first chapters I have ever read. I don't think I have ever been so impressed by an online writer in my whole life.
