Oh, I wish you'd continue this. :) I just got finished watching the second movie yesterday, and while I'd never thought of Wink's character as anything more than another bad guy for Hellboy to beat up, you have changed my mind. :) Spectacular writing that warms my heart. Thanks for this!

Ok it's going to sound horrible but my favorite part in this was when Mr. Wink asked Lorelei about how she got out of Europe. He didn't know any better but when you started to describe Lorelei's feelings and desperation while trying to think of a way out of this I was screaming in my head at Mr. Wink, "DAMN IT TAKE IT BACK! CAN'T YOU SEE SHE DOSEN'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS?"
Can't wait for the next post and I hope all is well!

Outer self: I'M SORRY!
I got really excited for a second when the two girls were standing in front of the mirror. I was hoping that a hansome warrior was going to show up in the reflection and when they turn around they see Mr. Wink asking them to hurry up. Now as for Nuada . . . me thinks he would be some kind of hansome demon in the mirror, or maybe something along the lines of a human . . . I know he would freak out but that is the second thing that comes to mind.
So when Mr. Wink got agrivated with Nuada for asking that question I though Dylan was going to have to pick him out of one of the stone walls. LOL
So Geri both interests me and annoys me. He is like that guy you see all the time who plays with girl because he knows he can get a reaction out of them. Although he is actually trying to be nice to Lorelei, so I guess that is enough of a redeeming factor.
Last but not least when Lorelei was helping Mr. Wink relax was gorgeous. I could practically hear her long soothing tones echoing off the walls. It gave me butterflies teehee!

Ok so the minotaur was cute and the fact that he is wining makes me want to point and laugh at the elf HAHA! . . . Also (this is so bad) the first thing I though of when you put down minotaur was tobuscus' song 'mini minotar' . . . It is so damn catchy!

Is it sad that I keep forgetting Wink has bristles? I just had a question pop into my head - is Wink going to tell Nuada about this? Is it also sad that although I can picture Wink's face clearly in my mind, I forget he has tusks? They're in my mental picture, but I just... forget. And what does canorous mean?

I love this part. I totally love this part. He's so romantic and awesome! He's just like, "What happened? Did someone hurt her? Or forced her to do something? I'd never blame her. In fact, I'd kill them! Whoever they are! Grrrr! Troll rage of protective love!" I want a Wink plushie to cuddle now.

And the water metaphors return in an awesome way! Love the rain and flood thing. LOVE IT! I love the water metaphors anyway because of Lorelei and her connection to water and so it's just so cool! But I love the rain/darkness/flood one because it's usually that you use the water-idea to describe something nice or pretty, not something sad or depressing or angsty or dark or what-have-you. LOVE.

The image of golden clockworks surfaced in Wink's mind, and for the briefest, bitter instant, he felt like the most selfish coward ever to walk this city's streets.
